New Construction Drywall in Portland, OR

Full-house rock, tape, texture and paint for single-family, ADU and small multi-family.

New-construction drywall runs on volume, schedule and quality. We hang, tape, texture and paint whole homes for Portland-area GCs and owner-builders with the same care we give a small repair — and we hit the schedule.

What new construction drywall really involves

Our new-construction scope is full-home: hang all interior drywall, tape and three-coat mud to Level 4 (Level 5 in accent-lit great rooms), texture per plan (usually knockdown, orange peel or smooth), and finish with primer plus two coats of paint. Ceilings are always corner-to-corner. Garages get 5/8" Type X to code.

We coordinate tight with framers, electricians, HVAC, plumbers and insulators. Every job starts with a walk-through against the plans so any missing blocking, wonky framing or forgotten penetrations get addressed before we hang. That saves everyone a week later.

Volume matters but so does finish. We staff enough hangers and tapers to keep the schedule while running dedicated Level 5 crews for accent-lit walls in great rooms, primary bedrooms and lobby areas. Paint is applied by the same crew — no hand-off to a separate painter, no callbacks between trades.
